Tarahi Mushaira is where a misra is given and the poets have to write whole ghazal using that misra and the behar ( rythmic meter) of the misra. For more information about identifying behars see the bottom of this page. Please read all the information given below very carefully, before you submit any work. Submissions not following the rules will not be considered by the judges.

Rules:

Please submit only your original and unpublished work, with a valid e-mail address.
Submitted entries must contain the given misra/word or if it is based on a picture, must be related to the general topic of the picture.
If you are submitting ghazal it has to contain at least 5 sher.
Nazms of any form will be considered.
Last date : end of the month
Only those entries received before the last date will be accepted.
entries can be submitted only by posting at the forum. You need to register to participate.
The entries presented on the result page are selected by the panel of the judges, and we reserve the right to reject any entry without any explanation.

All "serious" attempts will be published on the result page.

A winner will be chosen , but we don't offer any prize.
