The Bolly-Shayar award is presented by the people of urdustan to the shayar of the worst lyrics of a movie made in Bollywood. This is a rolling award which means this award is for the present winner until we find another example of poetic lowlessness. ( in other words ghatiya shayari ka umda namoona)

Sameer He has a thousands of songs from hundreds of movies to his credit. It is really difficult to choose one song or even one movie. So this award is not for his life time contribution but rather to only one song of one movie.
