![]() "Shirkate Gham bhi nahiN chhahti Ghairat Meri
His village is situated on the bank of the river Ganges and is a picturesque spot, naturally he was attaracted towards its natural beauty and tranquility .He spent leisure time in watching the beauty of nature around the village he himself has written on one occasion that the natural surroundings of his village were one of the major factors which motivated him towards poetry and literature.but more factually he was a born beauty lover & poet. Saghar Nizami has written on one occasion that Mubaarak's way of talking, style of walking, his physique and his gestures everything is shayrana[poetic]. Though he never personally met his Ustad Daagh but he used to send his poems to him for appreciation and review. Nooh Narwi another disciple of Daagh who used to live with Daagh Dehlavi during his stay in Hyderabad Deccan writes in "Jalwai daagh"(1951-Patna) that Mubarak was one of the most talented of Dagh's disciples and there used to be no mistake of language or style or diction in Mubarak's poetry. Mubarak's first volume of poems which was for many years used in Bihars' Schools was published in 1935, entitled; "Muraqqai Sukhan" Part 1 &2. His second "majmooae Kalam" was published in his life time in Patna in 1951 entitled; "Jalwai Daagh" a short collection of his ghazals. His grand sons took great pains in collecting his many published and unpublished ghazals, poems and even prose and got them published in "Kulliyaate Mubarak" in August 1999 which also contains many articles by his contemporaries and others about Mubarak's life and works. This Kullyaat is aptly dedicated to Azeemabad with one of his Maqtaa:
Mubarak bhi is khaake azeemabad se utthha
His poetry is a marvellous blend of Daagh dehlavis diction enriched with
the softness of Bihar. Dr. Mubarak was a homeopathic doctor by profession. Towards the end of his life
Government of India recognizing his poetic talent awarded him a monthly stipend.
He died in Patna, Azeemabad on 12 April 1958 and lies buried in Khwaja kalan graveyard.
He had rightly said:
Jin ko rahna hai rahaiN qaideeay zanadan ho ker
zalzala-e-bihaar : a nazm by Mubaarak Azeemabaadi on the 1934 Earthquake of Bihar
